About Baseline 99

Walter Owens started Owens Precision Inc. in his garage in 1978. Over the years it grew into a 65-person job shop, and along the way he learned every part of the trade, from programming and setup to running production and managing quality.

After selling Owens Precision in 2014, Walter started Baseline 99 in 2017 as a consulting company. Customers kept asking for parts, and before long Baseline 99 was a full-time machine shop again.

When you call Baseline 99, you’re talking to someone with more than 45 years in the trade who will look at your drawing himself.
